ISO harness for easy plug-and-play installation of the Continental head units in a Porsche 996 or Boxster 986 equipped with the Nokia or Bose M490 optional amplifier system with line level inputs. This harness makes installation possible without any modification of the original car wiring, and consist of the following:

  • Swap of Terminal 86s and 30 pins (switched and permanent 12V)
  • Yellow Mini-ISO C1 connector for line level connection to original amplifier as well as power-on circuit
  • Line Output Converter (LOC) device for speaker-to-line level conversion

This harness does not work with Porsche cars equipped with the M680 Bose MOST audio solution. This audio solution has a fibre optic connection between the head unit and the amplifier. We have no solution for using aftermarket head units in MOST-equpped cars.
