ISO power harness for easy plug-and-play installation of the Continental head units in a Porsche 996 or Boxster 986 equipped with the Bose external amplifier system. This particular type of system use speaker signals from the head unit to the external amplifier.

This harness makes installation possible without any modification of the original car wiring, Consist of the following:

  • Swap of Terminal 86s and 30 pins (switched and permanent 12V)
  • Wire for connection to Bose amplifier power on circuit

The Bose speaker-level audio solution is a rarely seen option. This harness is only used if there´s a brown ISO-connector in the head unit for the amplifier connection. If there´s no brown ISO-connector, you probably have the M490 option, we sell a different harness for use in these models.

This harness does not work with Porsche cars equipped with the M680 Bose MOST audio solution. This audio pack relies on a fibre optic connection between the head unit and the amplifier.
